Characteristics of the Heat Recovery Chillers

1.High efficiency

Twin-rotor screw compressor matches with condenser, evaporator and expansion valve perfectly.

Waste heat recovery device can be equipped together with the chiller unit for Air Cooled Refrigeration and Air Cooled Chiller Refrigerant. During the operation of the air conditioner, recovered waste heat capacity can be up to 30%—80% that of the refrigerating capacity while the maximum temperature of water can reach 70℃.

Recovery of waste heat can improve the overall efficiency by 5%.

Design of double circuit line, as well as Double Compressor to make sure when one is malfunctioning, at least the other can still perform and buy time for the repairing of our chiller.

1.How can I tell Water Chiller like Heat Recovery Chillers from cooling tower?

The two are of the same purpose which is to cooling down the temperature of water or other liquids alike. While they are mostly linked during operation, water chiller is to provide chilled water, and cooling tower is to cool down the circulated liquids which then be used as Air Cooled Chiller Refrigerant for water chillers.

2.Difference between Water Cooled Chiller and Air Cooled Water Chiller?

Just as their names suggest, the former uses water as refrigerant while the latter focuses more on the ventilation of air. If looking at statistic, water cooled chiller is 300-500kcal/h higher than air cooled chiller in terms of refrigerating energy efficiency ratio. Primary cost of water cooled chiller is also higher. However, water cooled chiller generally comes with cooling tower and has a complicated installing system. Air cooled water chiller, on the other hand, can be easily installed but demands strict operating environment. For instance, environment dry bulb temperature cannot be above 40degree, and others like great ventilation, suitable humidity are also crucial when it comes to applying air cooled water chiller.
