The
Spiral Plate Heat Exchanger is a heat exchanger that is made of two parallel metal plates rolled into two spiral channels. The hot and cold fluids exchange heat through the spiral plate walls. According to the structure, it can be divided into detachable and non-detachable ones. The two types have the characteristics of small size, compact equipment, high heat transfer efficiency and low metal consumption. They are suitable for dry-liquid, gas-liquid, gas-gas convection heat transfer, steam condensation and liquid evaporation heat transfer, and are widely used. It is suitable for industries such as chemical industry, petroleum, medicine, machinery, electric power, environmental protection, energy saving and heat conversion.
Problems such as weld leakage occur during the use of spiral plate heat exchangers. In order not to delay the production progress of the company, various methods need to be sought to solve the problem of heat exchanger leakage. Today, the editor will briefly introduce the heat exchanger. Weld repair steps:
1. Empty the medium in the
Spiral plate heat exchanger and determine the leakage location.
2. Remove the scale layer on the metal surface.
3. Polish the leakage area to make the metal surface rough.
4. Clean the repaired area until it is clean and dry.
5. Start digging holes from the outer layer of the spiral
Plate Heat Exchanger at the location corresponding to the internal leakage point, starting from the outermost layer and ending at the layer with the internal leakage point. The order is from outside to inside, in an elliptical shape.
6. After cleaning the oxide slag, the oxide slag left on each layer of the board should be carefully cleaned to ensure that the patch plate and the spiral plate are welded firmly.
7. Backing plate, the requirements for the backing plate used must be the same as the material, thickness, shape and curvature of the spiral plate originally used by the equipment.
8. The backing plate must be welded closely to the inner arc surface of the spiral plate heat exchanger.
