Welding inspection methods
1. Destructive testing
(1) Mechanical property experiments include tensile tests, hardness tests, bending tests, fatigue tests, impact tests, etc.;
(2) Chemical analysis tests include chemical composition analysis, corrosion tests, etc.;
(3) Metallographic inspection includes macroscopic inspection, microscopic inspection, etc.

2. Non-destructive testing
(1) Appearance inspection includes dimensional inspection, geometric shape inspection, appearance flaw inspection, etc.;
(2) Pressure resistance test, including water pressure test and air pressure test, etc.;
(3) Sealing test includes air tightness test, water-carrying test, ammonia gas test, submerged water test, kerosene leakage test, ammonia leakage test, etc.
(4)Magnetic particle inspection
(5)Coloring inspection
(6) Ultrasonic flaw detection
(7) Radiographic flaw detection

3. Non-destructive testing Non-destructive testing includes radiographic testing, ultrasonic testing, magnetic testing, penetrant testing, etc.
Conventional methods of non-destructive testing include direct macroscopic inspection with naked eyes and testing with radiographic flaw detection, ultrasonic flaw detector, magnetic particle flaw detector, penetrant flaw detection, eddy current flaw detection and other instruments. Macroscopic inspection with the naked eye does not require the use of any instruments or equipment, but the naked eye cannot penetrate the workpiece to inspect the internal defects of the workpiece, while radiography and other methods can be used for inspection through a variety of instruments or equipment, which can both inspect things that cannot be inspected by the naked eye. Internal defects of the workpiece can also greatly improve the accuracy and reliability of detection.
