Our company can produce tube sheets according to American standard ASME for shell and tube heat exchangers. The connection method between the Tube Sheet and the tube is the expansion tube connection, which requires extremely high production accuracy.
The heat Exchanger Tube Sheet can be made according to the following specifications:
1. The material to be used of the tubular plates will comply with the ASME SA-516 Gr. 70 specification.
2. Fully dead (deoxidized) carbon steel, fine grain ASME SA-516 Gr. 70 will be used.
3. The plates will be supplied of the steel with Normalized heat treatment, as established in the ASME SA-516 Gr. 70 standard.
4. The chemical composition of ASME SA-Gr.70 must comply with the provisions of the standard, including note B. The tubular plates chemical composition of the steel to be used, in particular the% of: C, Mn, Si, P, S, Al, Cu, Ni, Cr, Mo, Nb, Ti, and V.

For diameter of Heat Exchanger Tube sheet, we can make as big as 2800mm. The thickness can also be customized, we have finished production of 180mm thick or more. We can control the precision of hole diameter, hole center distance to ±0.15mm, and thicknsss can be controled to ±0.5mm. It's similar as precision instrument.

1. How to arrange shipment for big heat Exchanger Tube sheet?
If the diameter of tube sheet is less than container width, then we suggest to lay the tube sheet on the floor of container. Remember to arrange average weight for front and back, and put the tube sheet in the middle instead of one side. All these operations are taken to avoid weight imbalance of the container, because the tube sheet is too heavy.
2. Which type of container to be used for big heat exchanger tube sheet?
If the heat exchanger tube sheet is too big and heavy, then open top container is better for loading and unloading, which enables hanging from the top of the container. It’s not possible to load from the door of normal 40GP or 20GP container.
