Introduction

Material Options


1, advanced stainless steel: excellent resistance to chloride pitting and crevice corrosion performance, so that the plate heat exchanger can not be used with 316 type of brine, inorganic acids and other media. 


2, titanium: plate heat exchanger using non-alloyed titanium, it can naturally generate a passivated protective film, and if once destroyed, with "self-healing", so corrosion resistance than stainless steel is good, is suitable for chlorine-containing media typical materials.


3, titanium-palladium alloy: plate heat exchanger using the addition of palladium (0.12% to 0.25%) of non-alloyed titanium, which significantly improves the corrosion resistance of titanium in acid media.


Plate type selection

Plate type or corrugated type should be based on the actual needs of the heat transfer occasion. According to the fluid pressure and temperature, determine the choice of removable type, or brazed type.
