Featuring with its characteristics of being compact and easy to assemble, JIEMA Plate and Frame Heat Exchanger, also known as Gasket Heat Exchanger, is manufactured by pressing thin metal sheets into corrugated shape, then stacking and fixing them with clamping bolts in a frame. Narrow and chevron-angled channels are then formed between every two sheets. The transfer of heat from the hot work fluid to the cold work fluid thereby takes place when the two flow through different channels.

Sealing gasket is inserted and fixed to the slot in heat-exchanging sheet, featuring easy insertion and replacement, which can substantially reduce stoppage time. Sealing function is separated from fixing function. Even if some “clamps” with fixing function fail, the gasket can still have sealing function in the slot.
