3-Stage Plate Heat Exchanger for Juice Production

3-Stage Plate Heat Exchanger is adjusted Plate And Frame Heat Exchanger with a three-block design, with an attempt to realize beverage heat and cool in just one compact heat exchanger.

Previously, clients' production line consists of a Brazed plate heat exchanger, alone with a plate and Frame Heat Exchanger, so that steam is used to first heat the juice, for pasteurization purpose. Afterwards, the juice will be running through with cold water, to a certain low temperature for a better flavor and texture. 

Now with simply one plate heat exchanger, we come to realize the three stages of heat exchanging within our compact heating and cooling unit.

1.Preheating of cold juice

2.Warming up of juice by steam to kill harmful bacteria while maintaining helpful ones

3.Cooling down of juice by using chilled water to maintain flavor

(Juice could also be other beverage and liquids alike, whole milk, raw milk, etc.)

Eventually, we have a taste of a tasty cup of beverage, under the help of our Multi-Stage Heat Exchanger.

Heat Exchanger Specification

Material-SS316 Plates(Food Grade; ISO 2852 Standard), NBR/EPDM/Fluorine/Silicon Rubber Gasket, SS304/SS316/SS304L/SS316L/Carbon Steel Q235-B Pressure Plate.

Heat Exchanger Size-Custom, with height up to around 2m.

Connection/Port Type-Flange, Screw, Jacket, and Clamping.

Port Size-Tailored-made, such as DN50, DN100, etc.

Application

Food and Beverage Industry, Heating&Cooling of juice&milk, Mineral Water, and all sorts of drinks.

Maintenance and Service

When we are asked about the service and regular maintenance, it is same as conventional plate and frame heat exchanger. Depending on if there is impurities in the fluids, an average 6-12 months of cleaning plates is recommended. And we also offer the spares parts of plates and gaskets for replacement.
