The heavy rain along the Yangtze River goes on and on for days, and the situation is getting worse and worse. The main embankment of the Yangtze River in Xiaochi Town, Huangmei, Hubei has become a key area for flood control.

In order to prevent nighttime floods from destroying the Yangtze River embankment, the Hubei production base of Jiema Heat Exchanger actively responded to the call of the party committee and quickly established a flood-fighting team with general manager Jiang Yueqing as the leader. We are proud to say that most of the team members belong to Communist Party of China. We were on duty together with other CPC members from another village for the flood control and risk prevention, to ensure the safety of the Yangtze River embankment, and keep everyone safe.

On the evening of July 16, Jiang Yueqing, the general manager of the Hubei base of Jiema Co., Ltd., received an urgent telephone call from the flood control headquarters, requesting the Jiema production base to quickly organize our employees to go to the Yangtze River embankment and meet with them at the No. 17 flood control point of Daiying Village to meet with any possible flood emergency at night. When the flood peak came, we checked the situation of the levee at any time to keep abreast of the water level changes.

In less than half an hour, the Jiema team assembled and quickly arrived at the Yangtze River embankment. After a short communication and assignment of roles and jobs, we moved quickly according to the assigned positions. Some filled sandbags, while others carried.

At 11 o'clock in the evening, the first stage of flood control work was over, and Jiema's team successfully completed the tasks and returned to the factory.
